OFFICE COORDINATOR
HOME INSTEAD SENIOR CARE, BEAVERTON

POSITION OVERVIEW and TRAITS FOR SUCCESS
-The office coordinator sits at the front desk, greets visitors, answers and routes phone calls, schedules and coordinates events, heads up the employee newsletter and employee recognition programs, handles bulk mailing projects, and supports the agency director with a variety of special projects.
-Ideal candidates for this position have warm and welcoming personalities, have personal and/or professional experience with senior care services, have a strong computer fluency and office skills, and are critical thinkers and expert communicators.
-We are looking for a "people person" who thrives on facilitating connections for others with discretion, objectivity, and professionalism.
-Key attributes for success: friendly, warm, gracious, competent, approachable, interested in others, confident.

QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
-Qualifications: Strong preference for college-level certificates or degrees related to healthcare or gerontology. Desire to work for a company that makes a difference for seniors. 
-Work Experience: Strong preference for candidates who have done caregiving either for family members or in a professional setting. Required 2 years office experience with a variety of duties. 
-Growth Mindset: Looking for a lifelong learner with the humility to receive and the confidence to give constructive feedback. Sustained pursuit of personal and professional growth.

SCHEDULE, COMPENSATION, AND BENEFITS:
-Full-time schedule. Monday to Friday. 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour lunch.
-Hourly wage of $15 to $18 per hour. Negotiable.
-$3,000 to $4,000 available per year in performance bonuses.
